Artist avslöjade oanvända NPC-koncept för Life is Strange: Reunion

This March, Deck Nine and Square Enix released possibly the last Life is Strange video game—Life is Strange: Reunion. This title marks the return of Chloe Price, and, as the title suggests, her reunion with Max Caulfield years after the events of the first installment also concludes their story on a positive note.

And although Deck Nine has not commented on this in any way so far, apparently some content was removed from Life is Strange: Reunion. This became known thanks to former digital artist Jan-Wah Li, who previously worked at Square Enix. In his blog, as spotted by P1vsTheWorld, he published designs of some NPCs, namely skaters, preppies, and jocks, which never made it into the final version of the game.

This is not the first time Wah Li has published content that did not make it into Life is Strange: Reunion. Last month, he shared that an autumn version of part of the Caledon University area could have appeared in the game, as well as one game zone that is not mentioned in the game at all. In addition, unused design options for Chloe Price were shown—and some, in the opinion of fans, look much more intriguing than what ended up being released.

As for the Life is Strange game series, Deck Nine and Square Enix have yet to confirm whether Life is Strange: Reunion was the last game in the franchise, as was speculated. The fans remain hopeful that the game series will get more titles, with one concept featuring Safi and Diamond, who were looking for characters from previous Life is Strange installments, teased by Life is Strange: Welcome to Caledon University book. At the same time, Amazon is working on a TV series based on the Life is Strange original title. The shooting process will be starting next month, and recently it cast four actors for important roles. Tatum Grace Hopkins is also confirmed to play Max Caulfield, and Maisy Stella will play her bestie, Chloe Price.
