Among the confirmed games so far, only two projects have been announced - Among Us and Soulframe—but Geoff Keighley himself sparked discussions that Half-Life 3 might be announced at the Summer Game Fest. The game, according to rumors, has been in development for a long time, and its announcement was originally planned for last year's The Game Awards - where, incidentally, Keighley was also the host.

Also, insiders have repeatedly reported about the announcement of the Resident Evil Code: Veronica remake at the show, and the closer we get to the start of the show, the more rumors about announcements should be expected.

In addition to the Summer Game Fest (June 5-8), PlayStation will hold another State of Play show on June 2, while their direct competitors, Microsoft, have planned the Xbox Games Showcase a few days later, on June 7.
