Charting the Unknown, DLC:n för Crimson Desert, har försenats

It was originally planned that Crimson Desert, one of the most highly acclaimed releases of the year, would receive its first DLC, Charting the Unknown, by the middle of next month. Unfortunately, the developers have announced the expansion has been delayed, but the wait won’t be too long.

Pearl Abyss confirmed on its social media channels that the release of Charting the Unknown for Crimson Desert has been postponed by two weeks and will now launch on October 29 simultaneously across all platforms (PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Mac). This decision was made to ensure the game is in top shape and offers the best possible gaming experience, as you can check out in a statement below:

We are hard at work on Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting the Unknown to bring you new adventures to Pywel.

However, we have determined that we need additional development time to deliver a more polished and stable gameplay experience. Therefore, we have decided to move the DLC’s release by 2 weeks to October 29 GMT/PT.

We know many of you have been looking forward to returning to the game and we sincerely apologize for the longer wait. We will use the additional time to further refine the content and do our utmost to deliver the best experience we can.

Charting the Unknown was announced in early September during PlayStation's State of Play presentation. The upcoming DLC will take players to a new region, and among the new features are adventures on and underwater, and the ability to start romantic relationships, as well as the construction of various large-scale structures.

Additionally, Crimson Desert continues to receive numerous free updates by Pearl Abyss —the so-called "Patch Notes," which are usually released about once a week. Lately, these updates haven't included any new content but have instead addressed some technical issues.

Charting the Unknown, the upcoming DLC for Crimson Desert, is confirmed to release on October 29 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Mac.
