Rykte: Bloober Teams Silent Hill 1-remake kommer att lanseras 2027

Bloober Team’s remake of the first Silent Hill may arrive as early as next year, 2027, according to MP1st, citing its own source. Along with the possible release window, the first actresses working on the game have also been revealed.

According to MP1st, the remake is being developed under the codename Project Noise. Konami and Bloober Team plan to release the game in 2027, as long as there are no production delays and the company’s schedule doesn’t change. The exact release date, price, and platforms are still unknown.

The source also revealed the first actresses attached to the project:

• Gabrielle Fritz – a British actress of English-German descent. She has appeared in the TV series FBI: International and Kate’s Chocolates and already has video game experience, having worked on Battlefield 2042, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, EVE: Valkyrie, and The Tomorrow Children. Her résumé also lists motion capture experience.
• Jade Matthew – a British actress known for the TV series Doctors, EastEnders, and Torchwood: The Story Continues.

Which characters the actresses will play hasn’t been revealed. There’s also no information yet on who will play Harry Mason, the original game’s protagonist.

Konami officially confirmed back in 2025 that Bloober Team is working on a remake of the first game. The decision made sense after the success of the studio’s Silent Hill 2 remake, which had sold over 5 million copies by January 2026.

On top of that, a 2027 release fits right in with Konami’s plans. In 2025, series producer Motoi Okamoto said the company aims to release a new Silent Hill game every year. So far, The Short Message and the Silent Hill 2 remake came out in 2024, Silent Hill f in 2025, and last month, in September 2026, Screen Burn’s Silent Hill: Townfall was released. No game in the series has been announced for 2027 yet, so the first game’s remake may well be the one to hit store shelves.
