Hearthstone avslöjar Embers of the World Tree Mini-Set

Blizzard has officially revealed Embers of the World Tree, the upcoming Hearthstone mini-set set to release on May 13. This marks the 14th mini-set in the game’s history and will expand upon the Into the Emerald Dream expansion, which launched on March 25.

Into the Emerald Dream, Hearthstone’s 29th expansion, introduced 145 new cards and delved deep into World of Warcraft lore. Centered on the mystical Emerald Dream, the set spotlighted the conflict between the Druids and the Old Gods. It also introduced two new mechanics: Dark Gift, which buffs minions discovered through effects, and Imbue, a keyword that modifies the player’s Hero Power.

Now, the Embers of the World Tree mini-set will bring 38 additional cards, including 4 Legendaries, 2 Epics, 16 Rares, and 16 Commons. The standard edition of the mini-set will be available for $14.99 or 2,000 Gold, while the all-Golden version will cost $69.99 or 10,000 Gold. Players who purchase the Golden edition will also receive a Diamond copy of Fyrakk the Blazing, a powerful new Legendary minion 🔥.

Continuing the Journey Through Warcraft Lore

Embers of the World Tree continues the story of Into the Emerald Dream, shifting focus to Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope—a raid scenario where the Druids of the Flame launch an assault on the World Tree. The mini-set includes 72 total card copies, which will be obtainable through card packs or direct purchase.

Of the 38 cards, 16 have been revealed so far:

• 3 cards each for the Rogue, Mage, and Hunter
• 2 cards each for the Death Knight and Druid
• Neutral cards including Living Flame, Petal Picker, and Zaqali Flamemancer

This mini-set is part of Hearthstone’s Year of the Raptor 🦖, which began with the March 25 launch of Into the Emerald Dream. According to Blizzard’s 2025 roadmap, players can also look forward to two more full expansions—The Shrouded City and The Heroes of Time—each with their own upcoming mini-sets and features to be announced in the months ahead.
