Aurelien Ohayon, CEO and founder of the XOR strategy service, did not stand aside. He is also known by the pseudonym TAnalyst.

On his Twitter account, he shared his observations and showed graphs of bitcoin cycles. There you can see when they start, how long they last and when they decline. According to TAnalyst, the Bitcoin cycle lasts for 3.5 years. The beginning of the last cycle, in his opinion, fell on the first quarter of 2019.

In this case, if the BTC cycle lasts 3.5 years, then its completion should have come just in September-October. In October, FTX crashed and this undoubtedly extended the cryptocurrency winter and could delay the end of the current cycle with additional problems.

It is worth noting that in general, 2022 was a rather difficult year for the cryptocurrency industry. During 2022, several large organizations closed and projects such as Terra, Three Arrows Capital, Voyager, Celsius Network, and others reported faster.

If Aurélien Ohayon turns out to be right, then we are indeed at the beginning of the bull run, but this cannot be said for sure yet. We must not forget that, according to the experts of the cryptocurrency world, the digital asset market will move away from the events related to FTX for a long time to come, and in 2023 we will continue to watch organizations close and go bankrupt. Already in line for the process of proving their financial insufficiency, there are several candidates such as Genesis, Grayscale Investments and others.
