Fullständig release av Timberborn försenad med en vecka

Polish developer Mechanistryhas announced a slight delay to the full release of its city-building strategy game Timberborn — though the decision is not related to development issues.

Timberborn has been available in Early Access on PC since September 2021 and was originally set to officially launch on March 5, 2026. The release date had only been revealed in early February, less than three weeks prior.

However, Mechanistry explained that two other major games are scheduled to release on the same day. To avoid competing directly with those launches, the studio has decided to push Timberborn’s full release back by one week. The game will now exit Early Access on March 12, 2026.

In a lighthearted statement, the team commented:

“Beavers are very polite, so we’re making room and moving the release back by a week. These are challenging times, and we don’t want to steal the spotlight with our launch.”

Over the course of four and a half years in Early Access, Timberborn has earned more than 33,000 ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ reviews on Steam, maintaining a 95% approval rating. The game has also received seven major updates and surpassed 1 million copies sold.

The full version of Timberborn will launch on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has gone extinct after turning Earth into a wasteland, the game places players in charge of one of two beaver factions tasked with rebuilding and expanding their colony.
