Uppföljaren till Alien: Isolation får första spännande teaser från SEGA

Back in 2024, the director of Alien: Isolation, Al Hope, confirmed that the game is getting a sequel, developed by Creative Assembly and published by SEGA, but since then we haven’t heard much of the game. However, we have just received a first teaser of the game on a very specific day.

April 26 is known as National Alien Day, and to mark the occasion, SEGA shared the first mysterious teaser of Alien: Isolation’s sequel, titled False Sense of Security, the description of which reads, “A feeling of being safer than one really is.” You can check out the first teaser of Alien: Isolation 2 below:

Gamers are already paying attention to the fact that the game may differ significantly from the original, as the teaser suggests that the game will allow players to venture onto the planet's surface. We also see a save point from the first game, which may indicate that elements of corridor horror will still be present, though the developers will likely try to add more variety to the gameplay.

Since the game was announced in 2024, it has been confirmed that Alien: Isolation 2 will use Unreal Engine 5, as the studio was looking for specialists via its job postings, and the game is reportedly being developed by another team, with 90% of the original working staff having left Creative Assembly.

Besides Alien: Isolation 2, Eidos Montreal is also reportedly working on a AAA Alien game, which is described as “Shadow of the Tomb Raider with Xenomorphs.” However, the title is not being announced yet.
