Star Wars: Zero Company har blivit ett av de högst rankade spelen 2026

Denna artikel finns tillgänglig på följande språk

On August 27, Star Wars: Zero Company—a new tactical strategy developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment—was released for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. As it turned out, the game received very positive reviews from critics and became one of the highest-rated titles of 2026.

Gaming journalists have praised Star Wars: Zero Company for its strong storyline, well-developed characters, and carefully crafted gameplay that fits surprisingly well into the universe. Currently, the game has a score of 86 on Metacritic (based on 41 critic reviews), and on OpenCritic, it has a Top Critics Average of 88 and a 91% recommendation rate. You can check out some brief reviews of Star Wars: Zero Company below:

IGN – 90/100:

Star Wars Zero Company is an excellent tactical game that does a fantastic job of slathering on the same cinematic look and feel we saw in Respawn's Star Wars Jedi games, incorporating strong characters and a storyline that's refreshingly centered on non-Force users and a non-traditional villain. There's more of an emphasis on cooperation and flexibility, and a tighter focus on smaller maps that encourage a radically different and more aggressive playstyle. It might not have the legendary level of replayability that's kept XCOM 2 in my rotation for a decade, but its lengthy story campaign is more than worth at least a couple of playthroughs before you can see everything and get the hang of its nuanced combat and synergies.

DualShockers – 90/100:

After an eternity of modding XCOM into Star Wars, we finally have the tactics game from a galaxy far, far away that we deserve. Star Wars: Zero Company is an excellent addition to the saga that isn't scared of taking risks, and joins Andor and Rogue One in the pantheon of tales about high-risk covert operations, living up to the reputation of its peers. Occasional balancing and interface issues only keep a great game from being perfect, but when the blasters start singing, it all comes together.

PC Gamer – 90/100:

A new all-timer Star Wars game and a stunning debut for Bit Reactor.

CGMagazine – 90/100:

Star Wars Zero Company is strong as a strategy game and as a Star Wars story, but truly shines through its high personalization and replayability.

TheGamer – 90/100:

Zero Company is not as explicitly political as Andor, but like the show, it very much feels influenced by the time in which it was created. It is a story about the dangers of apathy, and how fascism fosters when you’re too beaten down to care. It’s about how good people get swayed into doing terrible things, and the only antidote is to take a long look and see what is being done to your friends and neighbours.

Wccftech – 85/100:

Star Wars Zero Company is a strong real-time tactics title, set in the Star Wars universe. With deep tactical combat, a base system giving you upgradable elements and allowing you to interact with your team, there's a reasonable amount to see in what is a focused entry and, arguably, one of the better Star Wars titles to have been released in recent years.

GamesRadar+ - 80/100:

Star Wars: Zero Company does exactly what it promises: XCOM, but in a galaxy far, far away. It might not reinvent the format like Midnight Suns, but it's a rare treat to see the tactics genre given this kind of big-budget treatment, and lightsabers only sweeten the deal.

  • Gamers Heroes – 10/10
  • Windows Central – 10/10
  • Metro – 9/10
  • Press Start – 9/10
  • Game Rant – 9/10
  • PSX Brazil – 8.5/10
  • Noisy Pixel – 8.5/10
  • Atomix – 8/10
  • Screen Rant – 8/10
  • GameReactor – 8/10
  • Game Informer – 8/10

Despite such a warm reception from critics, gamers aren't quite as enthusiastic about Star Wars: Zero Company. Currently, the game has just over 50% positive reviews on Steam, mainly due to a host of technical issues and optimization problems. That said, the game launched with 66,000 active online players, which is a pretty good result.
