Only a few hours remain until the GTA 6 pre-order becomes available to players worldwide. While some countries, including Japan, India, Singapore, and others, already have access, most parts of the world will still need to wait a little longer. However, since Rockstar Games has revealed the prices for the standard and Ultimate editions of GTA 6, fans have likely already made their choice.

Although Rockstar Games has yet to release a new trailer for GTA 6, players' anticipation continues to grow. Discussions are underway about the potential revenue the game could generate, especially considering its $80 price tag for the standard edition. According to a recent report from GamesIndustry, citing various analysts, GTA 6 is projected to sell around 38 million copies and bring in over $3 billion in revenue within its first year. Joost van Dreunen from Aldora shares this optimistic outlook. However, some predictions are even more ambitious. For instance, Gareth Sutcliffe from Enders Analysis believes GTA 6 could sell between 50 and 60 million copies within the first year after its release.

There were previous reports online suggesting that Take-Two Interactive expects GTA 6 to sell around 20 to 25 million copies on its launch day. Given the ongoing hype surrounding one of the most anticipated games of 2026, reaching sales of 15 to 20 million copies seems entirely possible. Either way, we'll find out for sure very soon.

Among the other details revealed today, Rockstar Games announced pre-order bonuses for GTA 6 that include items inspired by the original GTA: Vice City. They also confirmed that pre-orders will begin on June 25 at midnight local time. Additionally, it was disclosed that physical copies of the game will not include discs —instead, buyers will receive a code to download the product.
