Patch-anteckningar för Disney Dreamlight Valley-uppdateringen 1 oktober avslöjade
Gameloft has revealed the full patch notes for Disney Dreamlight Valley’s upcoming October 1 update, bringing new content, seasonal events, and a wave of improvements and fixes. Since its launch in 2023, the life sim has expanded regularly with themed additions, collaborations, and expansions. This latest update builds on that consistency by combining fan-favorite Disney characters with Halloween-themed features that arrive just in time for October.
Disney Dreamlight Valley has remained a steady presence since its release, attracting a wide player base across multiple platforms. The game saw a major boost in August when it added a new dragon companion chosen by the community and the Inside Out realm featuring Joy and Sadness. Now the focus shifts back to Beauty and the Beast, as two more iconic characters join the Valley.
The update’s centerpiece is the return to Beast’s Castle, where players will assist Cogsworth and Lumiere in solving supernatural disturbances. Once completed, the pair will unlock as permanent residents, each offering unique friendship rewards. To go with their arrival, the update adds a Dream Bundle that provides alternate looks for Belle and Beast, enabling special interactions between the couple when encountered together in the Valley.

Seasonal content ties into the Halloween theme. The Premium Shop will introduce the Witchy Kitty companion and a Halloween Castle Skin to change the Valley’s Dream Castle. October will also see the return of the Trick or Treat event from October 15 through October 31, with updated rewards. On October 22, players can access The Haunted Floating Festival, a limited-time event that runs until November 11. This event features puzzles unlocking over time, each rewarding exclusive items.

In addition to events, photo mode receives several updates. New poses are available for toolsets, along with the first Royal Phone pose using wide-angle shots to display collected phone cases. A Night Thorns toggle allows players to remove environmental clutter while taking screenshots, with compatibility extending to Splinters of Fate and Inkies.
The update also enhances decorating options with the Halloween Castle Skin and modifies the Premium Shop to make Dream Bundles and Companion Bundles clearer. The Collection Menu has been reorganized: Collection and Village now sit under “Mysteries,” while Gardening, Fishing, and Cooking merge into “Activities.” Owners of the Storybook Vale Expansion will also gain access to the Teal Baby Dragon and Black Pegasus.
The previous update we loved till now was an amazing Alice in Wonderland, where you need to follow the white rabbit.
The October update does not just focus on content and quality-of-life features. It also delivers a long list of bug fixes that target visual issues, quest progression, companion poses, crafting systems, and platform-specific glitches. The extensive fixes aim to improve stability across platforms, particularly the Nintendo Switch, which had suffered from resolution and performance concerns in decorated villages.
Gameloft has also aligned the update with broader access opportunities. Disney Dreamlight Valley will join Xbox Game Pass on October 1, making it easier for new players to try the game. The title remains available across most platforms, though the Nintendo Switch 2 version is scheduled for 2026.
The October update is part of a wider roadmap. On October 15, Gameloft will reveal details about the Wishblossom Ranch DLC, launching in November. This expansion introduces horses to the Valley, allowing players to ride, feed, and restore a ranch. Looking further ahead, Cinderella has been teased as a Winter 2025 addition.
